NO WASHING MACHINE
Contrary to what one might think, the washing machine is not a friend to clean our white shoes: a bit too violent.
USE THE TOOTHBRUSH:
A toothbrush, a mild soap and gently rub on the most difficult to reach parts of the shoe to make them white again!
USE THE BLEACH WITH MODERATION
Bleach is a godsend for cleaning our white shoes but only if very well diluted (otherwise you risk turning them yellow!). Apply the bleach with a toothbrush or a sponge and rinse with warm water.
USE THE WHITE POLISH
If your white sneaker has a scratch that there is no way to cover, try with white polish (Beware that it is the same shade of white as the shoe). Apply a little touch on the damaged part and the damage will be camouflaged. The trick works only on small damages, otherwise the effect will be too visible!
USE KITCHEN SPONGES:
If your white shoes have some stains, remove them quickly when you come home using kitchen sponges. The most effective is the “Magic rubber” type, otherwise use the classic sponges with a small drop of vinegar.
